Talking Circle Community

What is the Talking Circle Community?
The Talking Circle Community is a network of autonomous individuals connected by similar values around Equality, Ecology, Direct Democracy, Radical Honesty, Love and Respect.

Our Mission is to offer practical and emotional support to one another through the open sharing of skills, knowledge, information and education.

Our Vision is to co-create a code of ethics and a horizontal structure that communicates, gathers, and organizes collectively and can function with the caretaking of one and all.

Where do Talking Circle Gatherings take place?
Talking Circle Gatherings take place predominantly in nature. Members of the community who own or care for land and whose values align with the mission and vision of the group offer their space to the gatherings. To date we have held events in more than a dozen separate locations around the island of Cyprus. 

When do Talking Circle Gatherings take place?
Talking Circle Gatherings currently take place once every 2 months and are spread over a weekend. During the colder months, when the climate is less predictable, we hold one day events in locations offering shelter from the weather. 

Do you wish to participate in a Talking Circle event?
We certainly hope you do! Talking Circle events are open to everyone. All you need to do is show up!

How are Talking Circle Gatherings organized?
The events are facilitated by a core group of the community's volunteers otherwise known as Guardians.
