Aquatic Therapy Sessions
Aquatic therapy is a variation of massage done in a warm water pool and has a plethora of therapeutic and physiological effects such as activating the parasympathetic nervous system, decreasing muscle spasticity, joint decompression, and promoting relaxation. Being in warm water offers the body a different experience of movement freedom than being on a table. At its essence it is comprised of the client entering a relaxed, flow state while floating with the LMT supporting the body, gentle massage and stretching techniques are incorporated.
*Selecting this option means certain prerequisites set by the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association (WABA) must be met in order to receive aquatic therapy.
Aquatic therapy sessions 60 minutes.
Sliding scale fee: $40- $80, includes the pool rental fee.
*Discount system above does not apply to Aquatic Therapy appointments. No tips are expected.
