I get this question a lot. In fact, I get it so much that I made a page on the website specifically for it.
So allow me to explain the situation. The problem is Google Sites, which is the program used to build this website, does not support editing from mobile phones. That means I cannot edit this webpage on my phone and I have to use a PC or Mac to do so. The second problem is I could not bring a laptop to edit with on the trip due to the size of my laptop and it's breakable nature. So I had to find some loophole to edit the website by using my phone since my phone is small and can be easily protected. The solution to this predicament came when I discovered that I could link a Google Docs document to the website shortly before leaving on the trip. I could edit a Google Docs document on my phone. So I created a document and linked it to this website using a PC before I left. I could then edit the Google Docs document on my phone and it would automatically update the webpage for me. As an added bonus, I could now update the site over cellular service and WiFi both. If I had used a PC I would have been able to update the site only over a WiFi source. That is problem solving at its finest.
But why do I continue to leave the document link on the website instead of just copying it over when I am finished with the trip?
I discovered that some people actually prefer to read the Google Docs document instead of what I copied to the website due to the different format and style of the website. They find the Google Docs document easier to read. I did not want to change the way people preferred to view the trip, so I left it there for those who want to use it.
