This page is for issues that I know exist with the site. I am currently trying to fix them. If you have found an issue that you want me to know about, click "Feedback and Support" (not the drop down arrow, the actual text) to be taken to a feedback page. You could also just click the link below to get to the same page.
I know about the map issue where your dot does not show up. I made the entire map system myself just like everything else on the site. It has a bug where a new entry into the form somehow erased a particular line of code that was needed in order to actually display the location of the dot on the map. This deletion prevented the code line from ever producing the dot it was supposed to make and hence it does not show up on the map. If the line of code is reimplemented then the whole system works as planned. I honestly think this was a one-time accident from the system, but I will continue monitoring it until more entries come in. However, this may be quite a long time from now as entries are very scarce at the moment. Oh, and I also know you have to refresh the page to see your dot. That is not going away. That refresh is required directly from Google Site (the program used to make and edit the site) and I can't change that setting.
I am aware that some people cannot see the Tale of TAT video. I believe this is because you device does not support the file type that the video uses. I do know that it seems to work best on a laptop, PC, desktop, or larger tablet. Things like mobile phones seem to have the worst problems with it. I am searching for a reliable solution.
Possible Solution: I could create a YouTube channel and link the video from there to here. YouTube provides unlimited storage of videos similar to how the drive for this site works. I could also upload pictures to this site by storing them on YouTube and linking them to here as well. Anyway the rest of this idea of a bunch of technical hibbly-gibbly so I will skip over that stuff.
SOLUTION: I made a YouTube account for the site and embedded the video onto the site. Most any device can run YouTube. This allows for nearly everyone to see the video.
