The workshop will constitute a weeklong retreat with talks and organized discussions during the mornings and evenings; the afternoon schedule will be kept clear for informal discussions and collaborations. The workshop will generally focus on understanding the construction of the Fukaya category associated to a symplectic manifold and the geometric structure it encodes. Specifically, topics developed will include A-infinity categories, Lagrangian Floer (co)-homology and its obstructions, the Fukaya and derived Fukaya categories, and applications to questions in symplectic geometry and the Homological Mirror Symmetry conjecture. The workshop will be replete with examples and explicit calculations.
