日本分子生物学会年会（福岡）にてM1の堀江さん、B4の安藤さん・片岡さん・長尾さんがポスター発表を行いました。Shuhei Horie, Yufuko Ando, Sogo Kataoka and Haruka Nagao presented their posters at the annual meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan held in Fukuoka.

学術変革領域(A)からだ工務店の International Symposium on Morphogenesis by Non-cellular Materials （京都）にてB4の安藤さん・片岡さん・長尾さんがポスター発表を、田尻が口頭発表を行いました。Yufuko Ando, Sogo Kataoka and Haruka Nagao presented their posters, and R.T. gave a talk, in Kyoto at the "International Symposium on Morphogenesis by Non-cellular Materials" organized by Kakenhi for Transformative Research Area (A) Architect-bio.

東大・新領域・小嶋研究室（田尻の前所属）の平岩さんの論文がpublishされました。ショウジョウバエの肢の形態形成過程を細胞レベルで追跡した研究です。田尻も共著で研究に参加させていただきました。Shotaro Hiraiwa's paper on cell dynamics during Drosophila leg morphogenesis is out in Development Genes and Evolution. Link to the paper Link to the press release (U. Tokyo)

クチクラの「切り取り線」を作る仕組みについて、論文を発表しました。田尻の前所属研究室との共同研究です。We published a paper on how the "cut-here line" is formed on the cuticle. It is a collaborative work with R.T.'s former collegues at the University of Tokyo. Link to the paper: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.isci.2023.107279

定量生物学の会 第十回年会に参加・発表しました。普段なかなかお聴きする機会のないお話を多く聞けて勉強になりました。お誘いくださった鈴木さん、オーガナイザーの皆さま、ありがとうございました。 R.T. gave a talk at the quantitative biology meeting in Hiroshima, and was excited to hear many stimulating talks from diverse research fields.

日本生化学会 のシンポジウム「細胞内と細胞外環境の連環、その制御機構と疾患発症のメカニズム」に参加・発表しました。ECMの制御・疾患のメカニズムについて詳しく分かってきていることに目を開かされました。オーガナイザーの山城先生、板倉先生、貴重な機会をありがとうございました。 R.T. gave a talk in the symposium "Intra- and Extra-cellular environment involved in cellular function and disease" of JBS, and was quite enlightened by other talks on ECM regulation and disease mechanisms. Many thanks to Yamashiro-sensei and Itakura-sensei for organizing the wonderful session.

日本ショウジョウバエ研究会に参加しました。久々にハエ同好会、クチクラ同好会、Puparium同好会の皆様と対面でディスカッションできて嬉しかったです。上川内さん&運営くださった皆さま、ありがとうございました！ R.T. had a wonderful time discussing with drosophilists, cuticulists and puparium lovers at the15th Japanese Drosophila Research Conference. Many thanks to Kamikouchi-san and her team for organizing the meeting.
2年後の仙台も楽しみです。Looking forward to JDRC16 in Sendai.

細胞生物学会シンポジウム「多細胞システムを支える接着現象の新視点」で発表しました。初参加の細胞生物学会で、皆さんのトークが私には新視点の連続で勉強になりました。オーガナイズ下さった倉永さん、藤原さんありがとうございました。R.T. gave a talk in the symposium ”New perspective in adhesion phenomena underlying multicellular systems” (JSCB meeting), and enjoyed all things cell-biological. Many thanks to the organizers, Kuranaga-san and Fujiwara-san!

研究室はじめました。Our lab opened.
クスノキが目印の建物です。クスノキは春に紅葉する変わり種、とMu先生から教わりました。紅葉の時期を決めるメカニズムは？気になります。In front of our building is a beutiful camphor tree, whose leaves turn reddish/brownish in spring. Want to know what controls the timing of leaf coloring and falling.
