I was first exposed to TAHMO work during the workshop attended by farmers and various stakeholder at KMD offices in Nairobi. I was assigned some feedback papers from attendees of the workshop and I was required to input them into google forms for the purpose of analysis and to help in decision making. Being an IT Profession, doing such tasks is something I really love. When Gilbert wanted me to help out in creating a site that would be used for communication purposes and where my fellow interns would share their experiences and stories in the field, I felt that is one of the jobs I would do.

I can say when I started it seemed easy but as time went, ideas were being juggled in my mind so I couldn’t settle as fast as possible. But with the help and guidelines from Gilbert it became simple and clear to me what I was supposed to do.

When my fellow interns go the field they are expected to request funds through the links provided in the site. They are required to upload various receipts of expenses while in the field for accountability purposes. They are also supposed to write reports, blogs and they are advised to take photos while working. Every intern has folder where they can upload this. Once they upload them, they notify me and I work to add their stories on the site.
