Motor Schooner Starts on Cruise to Tropic Isles of South Sea

RESEARCH IN SEAS OF FAR SOUTH- Sailing Wednesday with her owner and party of guests aboard , the motor schooner Kaimiloa goes to Honolulu, picks up a party of British scientist there, and goes to cruise among the waters below the equator. Aboard the ship are: M. R. Kellum, owner; (upper left) Ida Kellum and Baby Pink, Forest A. Robinson (lower left); assistant manager of the Hotel Fairmont for Honolulu, (upper right) Capt. A. E. Carter. Camera men on the expedition will make photographs of the flora and fauna of the south for the scientist.

Bound for a long cruise below the equator, the motor schooner Kaimiloa with her owner M. R. Kellum and party of guests aboard sailed yesterday for Honolulu to pick up a party of British scientists.
