Marimari Kellum

She had home schooling in Moorea with her mother until the age of 11, then went to boarding school for one year in Tahiti, before leaving for one year to France, then to Florida for one year, then moved to New York for two years to complete her high school.

She entered Bates College in Maine, then transferred to Antioch in Ohio, finishing with a masters in Archeology from the University of Hawaii.

She did field work with well known archeologists of the time (Kenneth Emory, Yoshi Sinoto, Pierre Verin, Jose Garanger…) mostly in Moorea, Tahiti, Marquesas, Australs, Hawaii, Madagascar.
