The TAG Ethos: Standards, Rules & Mindset

Joining the Tactical Activities Group (TAG) means more than signing up for operations — it means stepping into a disciplined, team-oriented environment rooted in realism, mutual respect, and military simulation (milsim) values.

This page outlines what we expect from every member, both in-game and within our community spaces. Whether you're on deployment or hanging out in Discord, you represent TAG.

Milsim Mindset

TAG is loosely based on the U.S. Army's 75th Ranger Regiment. As such, we operate with a clear chain of command, structured communication, and objective-based gameplay.

Being a part of TAG means:

Following orders, even under pressure.
Putting the team above yourself — no lone-wolfing.
Training with intent, executing with discipline.
Respecting your fellow members — on and off the battlefield.

We value maturity, consistency, and teamwork. You don’t need military experience — just the right mindset.

TAG Game Server Rules

To maintain immersion and fairness across all operations, all members and guests must follow these rules:

No griefing. This includes killing civilians, prisoners, random shooting, or disruptive behavior like throwing smokes in base.
Use of enemy or civilian gear/vehicles is prohibited unless explicitly approved by the Operational Commander.
Microphones and fluent English are required. English is the only language used during operations. No mic or music spam.
Zero tolerance for toxicity, racism, disrespect, or offensive language.
Minimum age: 18+. We expect adult-level maturity.
No metagaming. Don’t use text chats or out-of-game info to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., behind-enemy-lines insertions without orders).
Play your assigned role as designated in the operation roster or by command.
Respect the chain of command at all times.
No lone wolfing. Every action should support your team and the mission.
Follow operational orders and your leadership’s direction.

Violations of these rules may result in removal from the server or further disciplinary action.

TAG Discord Server Rules

TAG’s Discord is our main hub for communication, planning, and camaraderie. To keep it welcoming and professional, we enforce the following rules:

🚫 Prohibited Content

Drug-related content
Pornography or sexually explicit material
Spoilers (for games, films, etc.)
Racism, sexism, or hate speech
Political or religious discussions
Real-life gore or depictions of death

✅ Expected Conduct

Respect the admins, moderators, and fellow members.
No hot-mic behavior or unnecessary voice disruptions.
Do not insult, provoke, or bait others into arguments.
No advertising of other units, Discords, or communities without permission.
Respect each other’s privacy — no doxxing, sharing private info, etc.
We enforce Discord’s minimum age requirement (13+), but we expect 18+ maturity from all members.

Discipline & Final Authority

All infractions are reviewed internally by TAG’s officer team. However, final decisions on disciplinary actions rest with Tactical Bootneck (Boot) — the founder and unit commander. He serves as the Judge, Jury, and Executioner within the unit and all related Discord Servers.

Respect the process, respect each other, and we’ll all continue to grow TAG as one of the most professional and rewarding milsim experiences in Arma Reforger.
