Donna Eden developed Energy Medicine after learning Touch for Health. Therefore, Touch for Health teaches the fundamentals of energy healing.
The benefits of Touch Level 1 include gradually improving posture, physical condition, and emotions as muscles are corrected, guiding the body toward health. By setting goals and repeatedly correcting muscle imbalances, the body and subconscious memorize the target, allowing the body to naturally progress toward it.

In Touch for Health, you will learn the highly effective muscle testing method to enhance and maintain physical health and mental well-being. Using muscle testing also helps improve your potential and intuition.
In Level 1, you learn the background and concepts of Touch for Health, along with the fundamentals for adjusting energy imbalances and maximizing your natural healing power. You learn how to test 14 muscles and become able to perform balance adjustments. Furthermore, setting goals causes muscles to become unbalanced, and adjusting those muscles guides the body towards that goal. Each time you do this work, you gain deeper insight into your own life and achieve greater awareness.
What you learn in Level 1:
Learn muscle testing and experience how the body reacts to the energy (ki) flowing within muscles.
Perform muscle testing on 14 muscles.
Experience the concept that illness arises from poor energy flow, and that restoring balance to improve energy flow leads to wellness
The concept of the Health Triangle and pursuing health from three directions: body, mind, and diet.
Methods for addressing pain
