Each quarter, Avalanche social studies students have the opportunity to revise or retake ONE assessment, excluding the last assessment of the quarter. The retake is a new and different assessment of the same material. Students who do the retake, receive an entirely new score for that assessment, regardless of whether or not the new score is lower than the score on the original assessment.
