Cryogenic-bacterial pathogenesis lab
We are a newly established laboratory at the Center for Infectious Disease Education and Research (CiDER), at the University of Osaka.
Our research applies cryo-FIB and cryo-ET approaches to visualize and disect Host - Pathogen interactions at high resolution. In particular, we seek to elucidate the molecular mechanism underlaying protein translocation medicated by bacterial nanomachines.
Keywords: cryo-EM, cryo-electron tomography, cryo-focused ion beam, host–pathogen interactions
