Ingeniero Industrial especialidad Organización Industrial por la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao y Doctor por la Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (EHU). En la actualidad es profesor agregado del Departamento de Organización de Empresas en la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao y en la Facultad de Relaciones Laborales y Trabajo Social, Universidad del País Vasco. Tras trabajar varios años como director de proyectos en el sector de la Construcción Industrial se incorporó al departamento en el año 2007. Desde entonces imparte docencia principalmente en el área de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo y de los métodos cuantitativos en la ingeniería. Aunque inició su actividad investigadora en el ámbito de la gestión ambiental, tema de su Tesis Doctoral, actualmente se centra en las nuevas herramientas tecnológicas para la mejora de la prevención de los riesgos laborales. Además, actualmente, es el responsable del Máster Universitario de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering specializing in Industrial Organization from the Bilbao School of Engineering and a PhD from the University of the Basque Country (EHU). He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Business Organization at the Bilbao School of Engineering and in the Faculty of Labor Relations and Social Work at the University of the Basque Country. After working for several years as a project manager in the industrial construction sector, he joined the department in 2007. Since then, he has primarily taught courses in the areas of occupational health and safety and quantitative methods in engineering. Although he began his research in the field of environmental management, the subject of his doctoral thesis, he currently focuses on new technological tools for improving occupational risk prevention. He is also currently the director of the Master's Program in Occupational Health and Safety.
Bilboko Ingeniaritza Eskolako Industria Ingeniaria eta Euskal Herriko Unibertsitateko doktorea. Enpresen Antolakuntza saileko irakaslea bezala Bilboko Ingeniaritza Eskolan eta Lan Harreman eta Gizarte Langintza Fakultatean aritzen da. Industria eraikuntza sektorean hainbat urtez proiektu-zuzendari gisa lan egin ondoren, 2007an heldu zen sailera. Ordutik, batez ere laneko osasuna eta segurtasunaren eta ingeniaritzako metodo kuantitatiboen arloetan eskolak eman eta ematen ditu. Bere ikerketa, ingurumen-kudeaketaren arloan hasi bazuen ere, bere doktorego-tesiaren gaia dena, gaur egun laneko arriskuen prebentzioa hobetzeko tresna teknologiko berrietan zentratzen da, izan ere Laneko Osasuna eta Segurtasun Masterreko zuzendaria da.
