Jon Borregan-Alvarado es Ingeniero Técnico Industrial en Electrónica Industrial e Ingeniero en Organización Industrial por la Universidad del País Vasco UPV/EHU. Tras varios años como ingeniero de producción, mejora continua y procesos en empresas de entornos industriales y de servicios, en 2019 comienza en paralelo como estudiante de doctorado industrial [empresa-universidad (UPV/EHU)]. La tesis doctoral se centra dentro de la Industria 4.0 y 5.0, y más concretamente en el campo de la robótica colaborativa y la predicción tecnológica de este sector. Por último, a finales de 2020 se incorpora como profesor al Departamento de Organización de Empresas en la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao (UPV/EHU), impartiendo asignaturas como Sistemas Integrados de Gestión, Producción, Métodos Cuantitativos, entre otras.
Jon Borregan-Alvarado is an Industrial Technical Engineer in Industrial Electronics and Industrial Organization Engineer by the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. After several years as a production, continuous improvement and process engineer in companies in industrial and service environments, in 2019 he starts in parallel as an industrial PhD student [company-university (UPV/EHU)]. The doctoral thesis is focused within Industry 4.0 and 5.0, and more specifically in the field of collaborative robotics and technological prediction of this sector. Finally, at the end of 2020 he joined the Department of Business Organization at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao (UPV/EHU) as a professor, teaching subjects such as Integrated Management Systems, Production, Quantitative Methods, among others.
