Analysis of curvilinear surface contact friction
Curve surface models contain nonlinearity and have totally different characteristics from linear models. To find out the dynamic characteristics of the curvilinear surface, FEM analysis is conducted using ANSYS. Our final goals are defining dynamic characteristics of the curve surface system depending on curvature and explaining the situation through mathematical proof. [백수민]

Analysis of nonlinear system with elasto-plastic spring and dry friction under periodic loading
Mechanical systems contain various nonlinear elements such as friction, elasto-plastic, and large deformation. Due to nonlinear characteristics, the analysis of the system becomes complicated, and it becomes difficult to know the effect of each component on the system. In my research, the amount of energy loss by friction and elastoplastic spring has been calculated by simulation. To compare the result of simulation, the process of the experiment is ongoing and aims to suggest a dynamic analysis method at that system. [김준형]
