Students from BrainSignal (now Synapse) at GSU and people affected by various forms of brain injury (stroke and TBI). We came together for our first in-person peer support meeting at Georgia State University. We enjoyed pizza together as well as an amazing talk from our featured guest speaker known as Clarke Jacobs. Students from BrainSignal (now Synapse) at GSU and members of the brain injury community at Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse. This clubhouse helps people affected by brain injury redevelop social and work-related skills. We decided to attend Game Night at the clubhouse and we brought pizza for everyone at the clubhouse that day to enjoy. The staff even gave us an amazing tour of the clubhouse.
