President
Here is Harish Koyya! He is an undergraduate student at Georgia State University. He joined BrainSignal at GSU in 2021 and has been serving as President of Synapse at GSU since 2022. Through Synapse at GSU, he wants to create a safe environment for individuals with brain injury to be able to engage, interact, and build connections with each other and GSU students. In his freetime, he enjoys following basketball and playing badminton.
Vice President of Peer Support
This is Anika Sabnis! She is a junior Neuroscience major at Georgia State University. She been a member of BrainSignal at GSU since 2021 and is now serving as VP of Peer Support for the fall 2022 semester. She hopes to establish a powerful peer support group where individuals affected by brain injury can provide social support and educational support to one another through Synapse. In her free time, she loves to watch movies and travel.
Vice President of Buddy Program
This is Callie Wilde. She is an undergraduate student studying Neuroscience and Psychology at Georiga State University. She joined Synapse in 2022 and serves as the Vice President of the Buddy Program. She hopes to facilitate essential connections for brain injury survivors and spread awareness while raising public empathy levels. In her free time, Callie loves to travel and cook!
Vice President of Outreach
This is Niti Jani! Niti is a freshman at Georgia State University studying Neuroscience on the pre-med track. She joined Synapse in 2022, and she serves as the VP of Outreach. Niti hopes to connect club members with community members in order to spread awareness of traumatic brain injuries. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis.
Vice President of PR and Quality Improvement
Meet Mufidah Abdulkadir! She is a senior Neuroscience major at Georgia State University. She been a member of BrainSignal at GSU since 2021 and is now serving as VP of PR and QI for the fall 2022 semester. She desires to cultivate a strong social support network for the brain injury community and raise public awareness. Mufidah enjoys reading and writing!

Here is Hannah Yousuf! She is a Sophomore majoring in Neuroscience minoring in Biological Sciences on a Pre-med track at Georgia State University. She has been a member of BrainSignal at GSU since 2021. For Hannah, the Synapse is a community driven to engage compatibility and heartening outcomes to those affected with brain injury. In her free time, She loves to read.
Secretary
Meet Kha Trinh! He is a junior at Georgia State Univeristy pursuing a major in Exercise Science and a Biological Sciences minor. He joined BrainSignal at GSU in 2021 and has been serving as Secretary of Synapse at GSU since 2022. For him, Synapse is like a home, where many students feel close to the local community and sincerely connect with those affected by traumatic brain injuries. Everyone deserves to be loved, so let's be the first to show love to others.
Treasurer
Meet Christina Gilkes! Christina is a junior Music Education and Psychology major. Christina joined Synapse GSU in the Fall of 2022 and currently serves as the Treasurer of the organization. Christina has a strong interest in psychology, neuroscience, and music. In the future, she aspires to become a Neuropsychologist. Through Synapse she aspires to learn how to create a community through which individuals who are brain injury survivors can have a welcoming supportive environment to heal mentally and physically from their brain injury.
