I grew up in Spokane Valley, WA and attended Eastern Washington University as a first-generation college student and graduated with my BS in chemistry in 2006. The following year, I started the graduate program at the University of Utah and went on to earn my doctorate degree in 2012 in Physical Chemistry. I have been teaching college chemistry for about 13 years now and I am super grateful that I get to wake up every day and do what I absolutely love!
