Title :Smart City Firefighting Autonomous Data Collection

Abstract: Firefighters are tasked daily with entering burning buildings to find and save people from fires. This environment can include debris, high temperatures, and toxic fumes. Navigating through these kinds of an environments can be dangerous and difficult to find people stuck in the fire. We propose a proof-of-concept robot for firefighters to deploy that can climb stairs, hear people, find people, and report environmental data. We accomplish this using three Nvidia Jetson Nanos along with two AI models. This will reduce the time spent searching for people therefore saving firefighter and civilian lives.
