Food and accommodation are 100% covered by the project, through the Erasmus+ program.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to specific amounts that are set by the European Commission, based on the distance to the venue. The maximum amounts that can be reimbursed to participants for traveling from and back to their countries are the following:
275 €
360 €
275 €
275 €
The money covering travel costs will be sent to the partner organization’s bank account and then sent separately to each participant from that country.
We will create a Google Drive folder where you can upload your travel e-documents.
You will have to upload the following documents:
Booking confirmation
Flight tickets (with your name and all the details about the flight)
Proof of payment (a bank statement of the payment if you paid by card/ e-receipts)
All Boarding Passes (if you travel by plane)
No tickets are allowed to be bought before being confirmed by the organizers!
If you take the bus/ train/ tram, take good care of the tickets or the receipts, because we will need the original ones.
We strongly encourage you to buy flights that have the possibility to do online check-in, because this way you will be able to upload the return boarding pass on the folder, without sending it to us by post when you return home!
Also, we recommend you to purchase the tickets directly from the company website.
Although we can’t reimburse you for the cost of the health insurance, it is mandatory that you have it during the project!
Romania is an EU member state, so insurance for traveling here should be cheap and easy to make. If you have a European Health Card, please bring it with you, it is valid in our hospital system and can replace any regular insurance.
It is mandatory that you have a health insurance during the project!
Erasmus+ funds does not cover taxi and other types of private transportation, so we recommend you to take the bus if you want to get around the city.
Also, make sure you travel with economic class, otherwise we will not be able to reimburse you the travel costs.
