Not at all! All students are welcome to join our events, whether or not you're a SWE member. Just note that 1–2 events each semester are exclusive to registered SWE members — the registration form will make that clear.

To attend our on-campus events — no, there is no membership fee. However, becoming a registered National SWE Member offers these benefits from SWE HQ:

It’s totally up to you! You can attend one event a semester or come to everything. There’s no minimum requirement unless you hold a leadership role.

Absolutely! We provide professional development events and technical workshops all to help YOU be become better prepared to enter the industry. 

Yes! Our events are flexible and designed to add value without overloading you. Even attending one workshop or networking session can open up new opportunities.

GradSWE mostly focuses on hosting events that cater to the needs of graduate students or those applying to grad school; however, undergraduate students are absolutely welcome to attend if interested.

Be an active member at our events and chat with one of the board members to express your interest! It’s as simple as that. We open board applications toward the end of each semester to recruit new members to our team.
