In order to confirm your booking, we would request a payment by bank transfer as set out in the calculation below.
A dwelling is a tent, campervan, trailer tent, small motorhome less than 6 metres long, or foldable caravan. With anything larger you may find access difficult.
There is no charge for awnings, unless they are used for sleeping accommodation in which case they are counted as an extra dwelling.
There is no extra charge for dogs, which are allowed provided they are friendly, kept under control and do not frighten, attack or eat us or the ponies or cats. No Rottweilers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers or dangerous dogs please. Please contact us if you have a Rhodesian Ridgeback or German Shepherd. Please be mindful of the animals in the surrounding woods and forest. The Woodland trust is very concerned about conservation of the wildlife and we would remind you to bring a pooper scooper.
Electrical Hookup £5 per night can be arranged and paid for on arrival or below, except electric cars in which case please contact us if you wish to charge one, using a domestic power point (13 amps)
Campfires are allowed unless there is a serious drought. Please bring your own firewood as use of ours carries an extra charge and is not always available.

We look forward to meeting you. You will be sure of a warm welcome at our 600 year old thatched house.
We hope that you will have a very happy stay with us. We have a small campsite in a beautiful Dartmoor wooded valley, where streams and rivers flow. Many people love the intimate surroundings, friendly people and animals and wildlife. This may not suit some people who are used to large sites with elaborate facilities.
Please call us on 01647-24331 if for any reason this email system does not work for you or you have any questions.
You can delete the text above-and- below the double underlines in your email before sending it if you like.
