Nasaruni Academy, Narok Kenya
is one of our international projects. This is a girls' school in Kenya. It is a privately funded school and its mission is to educate Maasai girls and keep them from early and forced marriages. This school gives hope for a future to many Maasai girls in Kenya. Members and volunteers have helped by donating books to their library, and more recently, donating money to help build a high school!
If you would like to support our International Literacy Efforts, please consider donating to Nasaruni Academy.
Building New Partnerships in Kenya
A new school in Kenya, Olbolet Academy that serves Maasai Children in grades Preschool to grade 6 would like us to help them build a permanent stone library. We can build a new library structure for $8,000. Sadly, they only have textbooks for their children to use and are desperate to create a learning place for their children to enjoy high-quality books.
