I am a linguist and currently work as a post-doc at the Chair of English Linguistics at TU Dresden, Germany. My main research areas and interests are:
World Englishes (South and Southeast Asian Englishes; English in Madeira; English as a Lingua Franca)
sociolinguistics in mediated contexts (language use and attitudes on Reddit; language and gender in horror films)
lexicology and lexicography (historical and current lexical features as well as the codification of Mountaineering English)
non-canonical syntax (in varieties of English and beyond)
