Dear Students,

Hope your days are passing very well. I know, you have tried your best to complete your project, but due to the lack of time, may be some features are still missing. You would keep developing till all it's features you could think; but for now, we have to conclude the the course. That's why I am asking for some documents from you so that anyone could understand your work or explore through current features after easily installing your project.

You have to make the following FOUR things:

1. Technical Documentation

2. Non-technical Documentation

3. Structure of the database used in your project (You have to represent it through a diagram)

4. Specification of your project [A sample is provided in google classroom, Edit and prepare it for your project]

To sum up, you would send me a file like "CSE502_2015_projectno_regno01_regno02.zip" if you are doing a shared project and/or "CSE502_2015_projectno_regno01.zip" if you are doing it alone. Here, 'projectno' would be replaced by your two digit project number and 'regno01' and 'regno02' would be replace by you and your project partner [if you have one] respectively. Example: File name "CSE502_05_2015_2011331051_2011331063.zip" [without the quote] means your project number is 5 and your registration number is 2011331051 and your partner's registration number is 2011331063.

In this zip file, you must have the following files/folder:

1. project_05_tech_doc.pdf

2. project_05_non_tech_doc.pdf

3. project_05_db_diagram.pdf [If you have a jpg/png file, convert it to pdf file]

4. project_05_spec.docx [edit the name of the provided file]

5. project_05_db_dump_smaple.sql [if you need any database schema with dummy data, just export it]

6. project_05_db_dump.sql [just export the database to run the program with a fresh install]

7. project_05

If you are using any database other than the traditional one, find a way to export the database and replace file #5 and 6 with that. [Suppose, you are using mongodb as database, so you have to create mongodumps for file #5 and 6. You should additionally add a file for the instruction how to import the database. The file name could be project_05_db_import.txt]

All of these should be done within April 10, 2019.

2. who did not have project idea accepted yet, I would share some idea here, if you are interested, then knock me. The student who would knock earlier would be prioritized. Remember, by hook or by crook, you must have an accepted project idea within December 31, 2018. Otherwise you could not run this course in this semester. No reason would be allowed. Thanks.

Due to some unavoidable situations, I could not able to see your project proposal. So, the deadline is extended to September 13, 2018 11:59 PM. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks.

Do not keep the task for the deadline. Remember, you might have to re-submit your project idea several times if it is not innovative enough. You must get accepted within the deadline. If your project idea is innovative enough to do, then it would go through a step named 'Investigation' which would take time and would be processed by me alone beside my other works. So, it might create a queue to process. No excuse would be allowed after the deadline if you could not make it accepted. Remember, if you could not do a good project, you would be failed directly in this course without considering your class performance. If you could not believe, ask your seniors. Thanks.

You have to form a group to do project in this course. There could not be more than two members in a group. Standard number of members in a group is 2, I recommend this number. But if you have severe problem, then you could form a group alone. You must come up with a project idea and got accepted within September 6, 2018 11:59 PM. Fill this form to submit your project idea.

Before submitting your idea, make sure:

You and your partner both have a separate github account. Later on, your progress would be tracked through these accounts.
Your idea is unique and feasible to apply.
Study first, how to write a project proposal.
You have chosen a platform, either web or android.
If you do the project in web platform, you must specify a framework (Laravel, Spring) in the comment. Basic JSP, PHP or CMS website would not be acceptable.
It would be better if you could select a database also, but not mandatory.
You must have a mentality to keep me updated about your work.
