Given the Covid situation and quick change to online lab learning I just want to commend Sushobhan on the instruction he's given us. He's made Aspen easy to learn and understand.
The TA's did an amazing job preparing and producing the lectures as well as responding to questions that I had about the lab exam which was extremely helpful in clarifying a few points I was confused on. I do not believe that the material could have been covered more thoroughly and the ability to go back and rewatch lectures and hear the concepts explained multiple times definitely helped me more then an in person class would. Additionally, the online lectures allowed me to learn the concepts or brush up on skills as needed for homework or exams. Overall the AspenOne instruction was extremely helpful!
While learning in the classroom is beneficial, having AspenOne lectures + simulation videos online were helpful because it allows students to work at their own pace as well as complete the labs/practice problems on their own time. Whereas when working in the classroom can sometimes be slow if some students are slower than others it sometimes requires students to wait for others to catch up. Overall, I would recommend learning AspenOne.
I thought it was very easy to follow. The videos really did help me understand what was happening and provided great explanations. Good job!
I think that as long as lectures are online, the format in which you upload your videos works very well in communicating the objective and teaching me how to use AspenOne.
