In Fall 2025, I presented the information theoretic proof of central limit theorem in Prof. Siva Theja Maguluri's course. I mostly followed the papers and book by Andrew Barron and Oliver Johnson. The idea is that Gaussian maximizes entropy among a class of distributions with the same mean and variance. So, one could prove CLT by showing that the entropy of appropriately scaled partial sums goes to its maximum value. You can find the recording here and my notes here.
