Prakirt Raj Jhunjhunwala
I am Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia Business School working with Jing Dong and Yash Kanoria. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research at ISyE and also achieved Masters in Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology. Before coming here, I received my B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
My current research interests are queueing theory and applied probability. During my Ph.D., I worked with Dr. Siva Theja Maguluri on the performance analysis of switch networks. My hobbies include hiking, playing badmintion and reading novels.

Teaching
At Georgia Tech, I worked as a TA for three undergraduate courses: ISyE 2027 (Summer 2021), ISyE 3232 (Fall 2018) and ISyE 3044 (Spring 2019 and Summer 2019).
In Fall 2019, I took ISyE 8802: Fundamentals of teaching and learning in higher education to enhance my teaching skills.
I also took part in Georgia Tech's Tech to Teaching program, designed to prepare graduate students for college teaching positions.
Mentored four undergrad students:
David Li from the University of Michigan under NSF-REU program (meant to provide research experience to undergrad students).
Hyen Jay Lee from Georgia Institute of Technology under NSF-REU
Ruitao Jiang from Georgia Institute of Technology
Lakshya Jagadish from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
