PRAKIRT RAJ JHUNJHUNWALA

I am currently a Postdoctoral Scientist at Amazon in the FBA Science team. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Columbia Business School, where I worked with Jing Dong and Yash Kanoria. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from ISyE and a Master's in Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During my Ph.D., I worked with Siva Theja Maguluri on the performance analysis of stochastic processing networks. Before coming to Georgia Tech, I received my B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where I worked with Sharayu Moharir.

My current research interests are the design and analysis of delay-sensitive service systems using tools from queueing theory and applied probability. My hobbies include hiking, playing badminton, and reading novels.

Teaching

At Georgia Tech, I worked as a TA for three undergraduate courses: ISyE 2027 (Summer 2021), ISyE 3232 (Fall 2018), and ISyE 3044 (Spring 2019 and Summer 2019).
In Fall 2019, I took ISyE 8802: Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education to enhance my teaching skills.
I also participated in Georgia Tech's Tech to Teaching program, designed to prepare graduate students for college teaching positions.
