Impact

I was the co-president of external affairs 2022-23 for Asha for Education, Atlanta. I oversaw all the activities pertaining to fundraising in Atlanta and disbursing the funds to support the education of underprivileged children in India. We were able to raise a total of $60K+ which included $20K+ raised by the concert we hosted headlined by the Berklee Indian Ensemble.

I was the Athletics Coordinator for Team Asha Atlanta in 2020 and we conducted multiple virtual training programs. We have raised a total of $10K+ that goes towards the education of underprivileged children in India.

IIT Bombay Racing

EVO-X

IIT Bombay Racing is a student driven formula student team which builds an electric race car from scratch every year. The car is designed to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in 3 seconds and achieves a top speed of 160 km/hr. It only weighs a modest 235 kgs despite a completely electrical powertrain. I led the cost analysis and business modeling aspect of the project. We won the business presentation at formula bharat and were placed 4th in the cost analysis.

Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay

4 day long college cultural festival

Mood Indigo provides a stage for upcoming artists and college students to perform and at the same time provide that cultural exposure to the people attending the festival. It has been a yearly event since 1971 and has hosted several popular Indian and International artists in the genre of music, drama, dance, comedy and art showcase alike.

I led brainstorming and execution of the small little fun activities going around which is the core of the festivitis and provides the attendees with a personal touch.
