TAKE OUR ANONYMOUS SURVEY AND HELP US ADVOCATE FOR SURVIVORS ACROSS CALIFORNIA!
Support the HEAR Survivors Act!
We are so incredibly proud to share that AB 2212—the HEAR Survivors Act—has officially been introduced into legislation!
Introduced by Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, this legislation aims to strengthen protections and institutional responses for college students, and our organization is honored to sponsor this bill.
AB 2212 is grounded in student-led, survivor-informed research conducted across California’s higher education systems. Our findings make clear that when students experience harm, including technology-facilitated abuse, institutional trust, access to support, and clear reporting pathways are critical.
This bill reflects what students have told us they need. We are grateful to our research participants, partners, community members, and legislative collaborators who helped bring student and survivor voices into state policy! 💗
