While you won't be sleeping outside, eating rice, or meeting Jeff Probst, you will have the opportunity to play challenges, build alliances, find idols, and battle it out for the title of Sole Survivor. This social competition game allows you to go on the adventure of a lifetime and to make long lasting connections well past your time on Survivor Carolina.

Non-production and playing members of the club can join us on Wednesdays for Survivor watch parties, Survivor trivia nights, game nights, and other community events that allow you to meet other Tar Heel students and Survivor Fans!

Advertising & Marketing
Advertising & Marketing
The Advertising, Public Relations, and Recruitment department promotes and engage the UNC-Chapel Hill community to our organization through social media, photography, fundraising, tabling, and more!
Casting!
Casting!
The Casting department selects who will fight for a chance to play in Survivor Carolina during each semester. They review the applications, conduct interviews, and make the final selections for who will play for a chance to win the title of Sole Survivor! This department is only available for senior members and/or executive members of the organization
Community Engagement
Community Engagement
The Community Engagement department hosts events for Members at Large and internal organization community events that are meant to bring the members of Survivor Carolina closer together!
Editing, Graphic Design, and Uploading
Editing, Graphic Design, and Uploading
Editing team reviews and edits all the footage into and 30-40 minute episode to be posted on our YouTube channel! Regardless of what platform you prefer to use, the editing team will get creative and produce a narrative that will be shown online.
Film Crew
Film Crew
Film crew records footage throughout the entire season! Whether you have extensive camera work experience or have no experience at all, Film Crew allows you get creative and capture great moments. *No equipment required, seasons are filmed on phones.*
Game Design
Game Design
On the Game Design department, you will create the competitions for contestants to play and design twists for players to obtain and use throughout the game. You will be planning out the challenges for the season and pitching a reasonable budget to make them happen.
Risk
Risk
The Mental Health and Safety team ensures that the organization and game itself are safe, inclusive, and respectful to everyone participating. The Mental Health and Safety team will also demonstrate and test all the challenges prior to the players testing them, and will ensure there is a positive work environment within the Production Team.

While we do offer members to apply for executive positions, these roles will not be available to apply for before you join the club. Executive Positions can only be applied to once you join the club and go through an electoral process.
