Through collaboration with educators, families, and the community, we empower students to become resilient, responsible, and productive citizens who are prepared for post-secondary success.

What do School Counselor's do?
A school counselor is often the first form of counseling that a student may ever receive in their life. School Counselors work to support a students academics, social, and emotional needs while respecting their values and beliefs. School Counselors implement comprehensive curriculum that promotes student knowledge, skills, and attitudes in order for the success of the student inside and outside of the classroom.

American School Counselor's Association (ASCA) Standards
The ASCA School Counselor Professional Standards & Competencies outline the mindsets and behaviors school counselors need to meet the rigorous demands of the school counseling profession and the needs of K–12 students. These standards and competencies help ensure new and experienced school counselors are equipped to establish, maintain and enhance a school counseling program addressing academic achievement, career planning and social/emotional development.
