About
I obtained a BSc (Multimedia) (Hons) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Later, pursued my studies at the University of Bristol and rewarded with degree of MSc in Advanced Computing: Global and Multimedia Computing. From the period leading up to October 2012 (due on Study Leave), I held the position of research fellow at the Centre of Excellence for Rural Informatics (CoERI), which is affiliated with the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). I completed my doctoral research program, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computing, from the Serious Games Institute, Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University.

Presently, I hold the position of Deputy Director at the Institute for Tourism Research and Innovation (ITRI) and appointed as research fellow at the Institute of Social Informatics and Technological Innovations (ISITI). I am additionally certified as a trainer by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
Research interests
Research interests
My current research interests include Serious Games, Game-based Learning, Mobile Application Development, Augmented/Virtual/Extended Reality, Gamification, Human-Centered Computing and Health Informatics.
Notes:
I am interested in investigating the implications of technology's interaction with user groups such as older individuals and those with disabilities, particularly in terms of its responsiveness and accessibility. I aim to explore the acceptability and desirability of technology within these specific user groups.
