I’m a rising seventh grader, and I love gardening! In SURF, I want to make climate sustainability play a bigger role in the school curriculum, along with having lessons/textbooks reflecting this across different subjects (not necessarily just in science classes). I also want to work towards having more eco-friendly infrastructure in each school building, like solar panels and student-run gardens.

As an active member of our school community, my goal in the Fremont Unified School District SurfBoard program is to be an advocate for student resources like improved mental health access, better academic prep materials, and stronger peer connections. I plan to use this platform to ensure that student voices are heard and will have a say in what we do.
