I joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at National Institute of Technology Puducherry in September 2021. I obtained my B.E and M.Tech degrees in Electronics & Communication and VLSI Design from Karunya University, Coimbatore, in 2009 and 2011, respectively, followed by a Ph.D. in the area of Microelectronics from IIT Madras in 2017.

During 2017, I was a Post Doctorate Fellow at IMS laboratory, University of Bordeaux, France, where I worked on on-wafer characterization and compact modeling of high-speed semiconductor devices with emphasis on electrothermal heating.  Between 2018-19, I worked as a Senior Project Officer at IIT Madras, in collaboration with Semi-Conductor Lab, Govt. of India, for developing BiCMOS technology in India for the first time. Prior to joining NIT Puducherry, I was an Assistant Professor in the ECE department at IIIT Tiruchirappalli since November 2019.

I primarily work in the areas of compact modeling of semiconductor devices, thermally aware semiconductor device design,  and neuromorphic computing. I have published more than 20 articles in IEEE journals and conferences related to electron devices and circuits. I'm also a reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices.
