Project slots: Afternoon sessions of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday .
General instructions:
For Zeroth review, each batch must submit a report with the following sections – Title, Abstract, Motivation, Existing work/State-of-the-art, Problem statement, Proposed methodology, Preliminary findings (if any), Timeline/work plan, Conclusion, and References. Presentation is NOT required. The report should be signed and approved by your project guide.
For the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reviews, each batch must present their project work orally using PowerPoint slides in the given format.
The presentation must not exceed 10 minutes and it will be followed by a short discussion session for about 5 minutes.
Each member of a batch will be evaluated individually during the review based on their presentation and contribution to the project.
Important heads that we grade you are - Project novelty/complexity, Research depth/technical challenge, presentation skills, and question handling.
All the students of the batch must show up in person for all project reviews to be eligible for awarding marks.
Each batch must submit a project report in the given format, duly signed by the project guide, at least a day before the commencement of each review

Zeroth review - 03/08/2023
Instructions:
Prepare a report (2 to 5 pages, excluding the title page) with the following sections. Title, Abstract, Motivation, Existing work/State-of-the-art, Problem statement, Proposed methodology, Preliminary findings (if any), Timeline/work plan, Conclusion/Summary (if needed), and References.
Print the report in A4 sheets (2-sided printing is fine). Get it signed by your project guide.
Guide's signature on the report is mandatory. If your guide is not available on campus, an email approval from him/her should be attached on the last page of the report.
Submit the report to me in person before the deadline. No excuses for any reason.
First review - 30/08/2023
Instructions:
Submit a project report (4 to 10 pages, excluding the title page) with the following sections (only for guideline) - Title, Abstract, Motivation, Existing work/State-of-the-art, Problem statement, Proposed methodology, Results (in terms of plots or tables), Timeline, and Future work, and References. You should get the signature from your guide and submit the report before your review slot.
Prepare a presentation for 7 to 10 minutes. Follow the same set of section titles given for the report. The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A discussion for about 5 minutes. Be punctual.
Each person in a batch will be evaluated individually based on the following skills - clarity in explanation of ideas, contributions to the project, communication skills, and technical knowledge.
The project as a whole will be evaluated based on the following points - Novelty, Impact on socio-scientific responsibility, Application, Skill-set required/acquired to execute the work, and results obtained so far to meet the project goal (30% is expected in the First review).

Second review - 18/10/2023

Submit a project report (6 to 15 pages, excluding the title page) with the following sections (only for guideline) - Title, Abstract, Motivation, Existing work/State-of-the-art, Problem statement, Proposed methodology, Results (in terms of plots or tables), Timeline, and Future work, and References. Focus on work done after the last review. You should get the signature from your guide and submit the report before your review slot.
Prepare a presentation for 7 to 10 minutes. Follow the same set of section titles given for the report. The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A discussion for about 5 minutes. Be punctual.
Each person in a batch will be evaluated individually based on the following skills - clarity in explanation of ideas, contributions to the project, communication skills, and technical knowledge.

Submit a project report (25 to 80 pages, excluding the title and cover pages) with the following sections (only for guideline) - Title, Abstract, Motivation, Existing work/State-of-the-art, Problem statement, Proposed methodology, Results (in terms of plots or tables), Timeline, and Future work, and References. The entire work should be presented in the report. You should get the signature from your guide and submit the report before your review slot.
Prepare a presentation for 7 to 10 minutes. Follow the same set of section titles given for the report. The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A discussion for about 5 minutes. Be punctual.
Each person in a batch will be evaluated individually based on the following skills - clarity in explanation of ideas, contributions to the project, communication skills, and technical knowledge.
The project as a whole will be evaluated based on the following points - Novelty, Impact on socio-scientific responsibility, Application, Skill-set required/acquired to execute the work, and results obtained so far to meet the project goal (100% completion of phase 1 is expected in the Final review).
