I primarily work on compact modeling of semiconductor devices with an emphasis on electrothermal heating. I am also interested in thermally aware design and on-wafer characterization of semiconductor devices. HBT, LDMOS, FinFET, and GaN HEMT are some of the semiconductor devices that interest me.
Apart from the compact modeling and parameter extraction work, I am now exploring the field of power amplifier design for mm-wave applications.
