The Youth Council is established to facilitate the redevelopment of the council structure and ensure strong collaboration with the District 7 (D7) Office. Originally, it was founded in 2017 under formed BOS president and D7 supervisor Norman Yee. The program was then run in-house, specifically by Jennifer Low, until CYC led the program until 2024. Presently, bi-weekly meetings are student-led under the guidance of the District 7 Office. The members are committed to bringing together diverse ideas, improving connections with city officials, and developing impactful youth-led initiatives!
