I'm Mik Lehman (they/them). I'm 23 and studied Ecology & Evolution at Pitt and now work as a veterinary care assistant for exotic animals. I participated in activism and environmental education throughout my time at Pitt, including as president of Free the Planet. I'm excited to take on the role of Trainings & Education lead, so we can build important skills for new and old members that are relevant to our ongoing efforts and goals!

I'm MacKenzie MacFarland (she/her) the communications team lead! I'm a born and raised Pittsburgher from the North Hills area, but I now live in Garfield🐱. I graduated in 2022 with a B.S. in Chemistry from Chatham University where I did some fossil fuel divestment work with Chatham Green Team and 350 Pittsburgh. I want our generation to imagine a future beyond petrochemicals and make that future a reality through direct action. 

Hi, I'm Ilyas, (they/them) your Sunrise Pittsburgh Hub Coordinator for 2024. I'm a 19 year old activist originally from Buffalo, New York. After moving here in 2020 I started organizing with Sunrise Movement Pittsburgh. In 2022 I graduated from Winchester Thurston, and am currently a student at Carnegie Mellon. I was elected Hub Coordinator last year and am honored to have been re-elected for the role this year! I plan to continue the work of making Sunrise Movement Pittsburgh a hub of the people for the people! I hope you'll join us!

I'm Judith Koch (she/her) and the Pittsburgh's hub recruitment lead. I'm not a youth anymore but count as an 'older' ally. I am a local environmentalist and deckhand and throughout my work with youth I am inspired by their determination for a brighter and just future.
