When I first started selling my sourdough breads and baked goods in July 2024, I relied completely on pre-orders that I collected on a Google Form. I got some weeks without much and some weeks with 2-4 loaf sales. Eventually in the Spring of 2025, I had a thought that if I just started MAKING the goods then people would come and buy them from me.

Each May the city of Perry has a city wide garage sale day! So May 2025 I decided to bake about 28 loaves and a bunch of cinnamon rolls and cookies and have a stand set up in my drive way. I sold most everything that day! Sometimes you don't know you want bread and goodies until they're right there in front of you. Am I right?!

Before this garage sale day I had already decided I would take my bread to the 2025 Brigham City Farmer's Market! Until that began at the end of June, I started doing these Self-Serve Porch Sales and putting up signs by HW89 that led people to my porch. I was amazed as every time I would sell out or have very few items leftover!

1. Follow the signs. Decide which bread and goodies you want to take home.

2. 2. Pay via Cash or Venmo. (I'm ususally home if you need change, just knock.) 

3. Take a bag if you need to and be on your way!

The Farmer's Market has been great to me this year, but the Porch Sales will keep it going all through the non-summer months!

*Please Note: Sourdough goods are made with care at home in my kitchen that isn't subject to being inspected by the health department. These products are not gluten free and are made with wheat. They do not have preservatives and therefore have a shelf life of about a week when kept correctly (NOT in plastic).
