Sunrise Optimist was founded in 1955. We are an affiliate of Optimist International, a world-wide organization dedicated to personal development through service to youth.

We are a group of individuals that volunteer our time helping raise money to give back to Boone County youth programs. We organize various fundraisers throughout the year and volunteer our time whenever possible.
