Tinkercad is an application that allows the users to create prototypes for their product ideas. It allows the creation of 3D models, electronic circuit prototypes, and animations. In the session we explored the 3d solid creation module of the software through which 3d models can be created.
In order to create a 3d model the users can make use of the default models that are already available, such as a cuboid, cylinder, etc. there are multiple such libraries created that hosts different kinds of models.
In order to create a complex solid the user can use Boolean command such as a union or intersection to construct the geometries from the basic shapes. Figure 1 demonstrates the result of one such exercise, where tinkercad is used to create a 3D model of a furniture
Task: Creation of a realistic model of any object
