Bollywood Dance Classes

Sunaina has inclination towards Bollywood Dance with Classical also. She started her own choreography on Bollywood songs from the very beginning. She has won several competitions in India on her own behalf without learning Bollywood from any instructor.

Students from Sunaina Dance Academy perform regularly at Ganesh Utsav, Heritage festival, Cherry Blossom Festival DC, Durga Temple, Ashburn Diwali Mela , Bull Run Holi Festival, TANA, NATA, GWTS.

Sunaina Dance Academy conducts an annual dance recital as well.

We have participated in competitions such as Dance USA Dance which in return brought great feedback from Saroj Khan ji.

Also we are a Ganesh Utsav first prize winner in Dance competition.

Our team is a Winner at TANA 2019 in the Bollywood Category of the competition.

Offering classes

We work with small groups of kids so that they can get individual attention which keeps them focused, improve quickly, and learn advanced dance steps as well. One can see tremendous improvement in a kid's dance skills within a couple of months. Sunaina always choose the latest Bollywood numbers and new steps are provided in addition.

Tiny Tots age : 4+ - 6+ years old (weekdays/weekend classes available) This class is designed for young girls and boys who are curious to dance. The focus will be teaching the very basic steps of Bollywood while having fun. Relieving stage-fright from their mind is another motivation of the class.

Junior Classes : 7 - 10 years old (weekdays/weekend classes available)

This class will focus on developing movement skills, teaching proper dance postures ,and using the creativity of the kids. Students will learn various dance steps while learning the fundamentals and principles of dance on famous Bollywood tunes. This class will include a combination of basic to intermediate dance steps and movements. This class will be an excellent introduction for the future study of dance techniques.

Senior Classes - 11+ Years old (weekdays/weekend classes available)

This class is for intermediate to advance learners. Kids choose their own songs and contribute to choreography as well. Senior classes give them the confidence and grace needed to succeed in dance. Learning high level choreography , with regular practice will combine to have a great performance on stage. These higher level of classes keep kids motivated to learn, interested in the art of dance, and achieving overall development for themselves and classmates.
