We are conducting research to discover new compounds that inhibit the function of proteins and enzymes involved in diseases such as cancer, using analytical, physical, and computational chemistry approaches. These include:

• Affinity selection mass spectrometry (AS-MS) using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)

• Structure-based virtual screening using protein three-dimensional structure information and computers

• Drug design (SBDD, CADD) using protein three-dimensional structure information and computers

• X-ray crystal structure determination and DFT calculation for conformational analysis and spectral prediction of small molecules

• Structural and functional analysis of mutant proteins and protein-protein interactions (PPI) through wet & dry experiments
