Sumri (“Sumri,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the App”) is an AI-powered study companion designed to help users convert notes, textbook photos, whiteboards, screenshots, study documents, and supported public links into structured Study Kits, including academic summaries, simplified explanations, definitions and key terms, quizzes, and related study assistance.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, share, and protect information when you use Sumri, including through the mobile application, related support pages, official hosted privacy or account-deletion pages, optional Google authentication, and optional advertising-supported features.
By using Sumri, you acknowledge that your information may be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular type of processing, including certain advertising activities, we request that consent separately.
Sumri is operated by Sumri Learning Innovations, a registered business name in Nigeria.
For privacy questions, support requests, data-related requests, advertising privacy questions, or other enquiries relating to this Privacy Policy, you may contact us at:
Email: support@sumriapp.com
Sumri is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
Although Sumri is designed as a study-support tool, it is not intended for children or for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or users under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a user under 18 without valid legal authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
Parents, guardians, schools, or institutions who believe a minor has submitted personal information to Sumri should contact us at the email address above.
We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the App, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, provide, and improve Sumri.
When you create or access a Sumri account, you may authenticate using an email address and password or by using Sign in with Google through Firebase Authentication.
Depending on the authentication method you choose, Sumri may collect, receive, or process:
Your name or display name;
Your email address;
Your profile picture or profile-photo URL, where provided through Google authentication;
Your unique Firebase user ID;
Your authentication provider and applicable provider-specific identifier;
Email-verification status where applicable;
Authentication, login, session, and account-status information.
We use this information to:
Create and manage your Sumri account;
Authenticate your access;
Maintain your signed-in session;
Associate eligible Sumri data and entitlements with your account;
Provide account continuity and synchronized features;
Protect your account against unauthorized access;
Prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse;
Provide account-related support and security functions.
If you choose Sign in with Google, Google authenticates your Google Account and provides Firebase Authentication with the account information required for authentication. Depending on the information available from your Google Account and the authentication service, this may include your name, email address, profile-photo URL, and provider-specific account identifier.
Sumri does not receive or store your Google Account password.
Your Google Account remains separate from your Sumri account. Using Sign in with Google to access Sumri does not give Sumri unrestricted access to your Google Account, Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or other Google services unless a separate feature explicitly requests such access and you separately authorize it.
Firebase Authentication may maintain authentication-related account information in accordance with Google’s and Firebase’s applicable privacy, security, and data-processing practices. Firebase user profiles may include information such as a unique user ID, email address, display name, and profile-photo URL where available.
To create Study Kits, you may choose to capture, upload, or process content such as:
Photos of notes;
Textbook pages;
Whiteboard images;
Screenshots;
Study documents;
Public HTTPS links and publicly accessible webpage content that you choose to submit through Sumri’s Public-Link Import feature;
Handwritten or printed materials;
Other educational material you choose to submit.
Sumri processes this content only when you choose to scan, upload, capture, or submit it through the App.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right or permission to upload, scan, retrieve, or process any content you submit to Sumri.
When you submit an image, document, or supported public link, Sumri may extract or retrieve text from that material. Image-based material may be processed using optical character recognition or related text-recognition tools. The resulting text may then be processed by AI services to generate Study Kits and related learning responses.
Study Kits may include:
Academic summaries;
Simplified explanations;
Definitions and key terms;
Quiz questions;
Quiz options and answers;
Responses to questions you submit through the Ask feature;
Study metadata;
Related learning outputs generated from the submitted content.
Completed Study Kits and certain associated learning data may be stored locally on your device and synchronized with your authenticated Sumri Cloud Library. Cloud-synchronized data may include Study Kit content, source text needed for material-grounded Ask, categories and assignments, limited Library state such as pin or recent-item information, and completed Ask conversation history.
Original uploaded files and in-progress generation workspaces are not included in the Cloud Library synchronization system.
Sumri may store certain preferences and settings locally on your device, including:
Theme mode;
Preferred language;
Preferred font size;
Default landing page;
Quiz feedback settings;
Recently opened Study Kits;
Pinned or favorite Study Kits;
Search and sorting preferences;
Other in-app settings.
These settings help personalize your experience and maintain continuity while using the App.
Sumri uses limited privacy-safe operational telemetry and backend logging to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and monitor the reliability and performance of the App.
This may include information such as App version, generation route or processing stage, coarse page/source/file-size ranges, bounded timing and duration information, retry or failure categories, and security or abuse-prevention signals.
Sumri’s current mobile application does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, or another equivalent general-purpose analytics/crash-reporting SDK.
Sumri’s canonical generation telemetry is designed not to contain full study material, OCR text, prompts, generated Study Kit content, credentials, purchase secrets, account identifiers, file names, or raw URLs.
Google ML Kit processes OCR input and output on the device and does not send that OCR input or output to Google servers. However, the ML Kit Android SDK may collect limited device and app information, per-installation or device identifiers, performance metrics, API configuration information, feature input/output size, feature version, event types, and error information for diagnostics and usage analytics.
Google Play, Android, Firebase, Google authentication services, Google Cloud, advertising services, and other infrastructure services may also generate or process limited technical, diagnostic, authentication, security, and service information according to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
If you purchase Sumri Premium or another paid Sumri product or feature, payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing.
Sumri does not collect or store your full credit card number, bank account details, or full payment credentials.
We may receive limited transaction-related information from Google Play, such as:
Purchase status;
Subscription status;
Subscription token;
Entitlement status;
Product or plan purchased;
Renewal, cancellation, or expiration status.
We use this information to activate, manage, verify, and restore paid access.
Sumri may offer eligible free users an optional Free-With-Ads feature.
Through Free-With-Ads, a user may choose to view a rewarded advertisement in exchange for limited additional in-app benefits, such as eligible Study Kit or Ask usage, subject to Sumri’s applicable reward rules, balance limits, earning limits, verification requirements, and availability.
Rewarded advertisements are optional.
Users with an active paid Sumri plan that is designated as ad-free are not required to watch rewarded advertisements to use the entitlements included in that paid plan.
Sumri uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide advertising functionality.
Depending on your device, location, privacy choices, Google configuration, applicable law, and the advertisements available to you, Google Mobile Ads and participating advertising partners may automatically collect, receive, process, or share certain information, which may include:
Your device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate general or approximate location;
App and advertising interactions, including information such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, ad views, and video views;
Diagnostic and performance information relating to the App or advertising SDK;
Device or account-related identifiers, which may include the Android advertising ID, App Set ID, or other identifiers where applicable;
Advertising consent, privacy-choice, and preference signals;
Information needed for advertising measurement, reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
Sumri also uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present applicable advertising privacy notices and obtain or record advertising-related privacy choices where required.
Depending on your location, legal requirements, consent choices, and advertising availability, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, restricted, or otherwise limited.
Sumri does not guarantee that an advertisement will always be available.
Advertising availability may depend on factors including:
Your location;
Your device;
Internet connectivity;
Advertising inventory;
Your privacy and consent choices;
Google or advertising-partner policies;
Fraud-prevention or security controls;
Legal restrictions;
Service availability.
For rewarded advertising, Sumri may process limited information necessary to determine whether an advertisement was legitimately completed and whether the corresponding in-app reward should be granted.
This may include:
Rewarded-ad session or transaction information;
Reward type;
Verification status;
Reward-completion information;
Limited technical or security signals;
Replay, duplication, fraud, abuse, or manipulation indicators;
Reward-accounting information, such as an eligible ad-funded balance or usage count.
Reward eligibility is determined by Sumri’s trusted systems and applicable server-side verification processes.
A client-side indication that an advertisement has completed does not by itself guarantee that a reward will be granted.
These controls are used to protect Sumri, users, advertisers, and advertising providers from fraudulent, duplicated, automated, manipulated, or otherwise invalid reward activity.
Sumri requests Camera permission when you choose to scan study material.
Gallery images and documents may also be selected through Android’s system-provided media or file pickers. Sumri does not request broad storage or photo-library permission for these selection flows.
We use this access only to allow you to capture, select, upload, or process study-related content that you choose to submit.
Sumri does not access your camera, photos, gallery, or files continuously in the background.
Images or files are processed only after you take an action such as selecting, scanning, uploading, or confirming content for Study Kit generation.
You may disable Sumri’s Camera permission at any time through your Android device settings. Camera-based scanning may not work while that permission is disabled.
Access to individual gallery images or documents selected through Android system pickers is controlled through those picker interactions.
We use information for purposes including:
To provide and operate Sumri;
To create and manage user accounts;
To authenticate users through supported authentication methods, including email-and-password authentication and Sign in with Google;
To maintain account sessions and account continuity;
To protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access;
To extract or retrieve text from content you submit;
To generate summaries, explanations, quizzes, Ask responses, and other Study Kit content;
To save, retrieve, organize, synchronize, and display Study Kits;
To personalize the App experience;
To process paid access and subscription entitlements;
To provide customer support;
To diagnose bugs, failures, and performance issues;
To improve App reliability, usability, and security;
To prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or misuse;
To request, display, administer, and measure optional rewarded advertising;
To verify completed rewarded-ad events and issue eligible in-app rewards;
To maintain applicable advertising reward balances and earning limits;
To detect advertising fraud, replay, duplication, automation, manipulation, or abuse;
To record and respect applicable advertising consent, privacy, and opt-out choices;
To comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, consumer-protection, platform, privacy, advertising, and security obligations;
To enforce our terms, policies, reward rules, and academic-integrity restrictions.
We do not use submitted study content to create misleading academic work, impersonate students, or intentionally help users violate school rules.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal data, including under the GDPR, we rely on one or more of the following:
Performance of a contract: To provide the App, account creation and authentication, account access, Study Kit generation, saved Library features, paid features, and other services you request.
Consent: Where you grant device permissions, choose to use a third-party authentication method where consent is applicable, submit content for processing, enable optional functionality, or provide consent for advertising-related processing where required.
Legitimate interests: To secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App, prevent abuse or fraud, administer services, protect accounts, and understand basic service performance where permitted by law.
Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, tax and accounting requirements, consumer-protection rules, platform requirements, privacy requirements, security obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Where required by applicable law, we request consent before using or permitting certain technologies for personalized advertising, accessing or storing advertising-related information on a device, or carrying out related processing.
Advertising providers may identify additional purposes or legal bases for their own processing through the applicable consent interface or their privacy notices.
You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Withdrawing consent may affect the availability or type of certain features or advertising, but withdrawing advertising consent does not by itself terminate your Sumri account.
Sumri uses text-recognition and AI-processing technologies to convert submitted content into Study Kits and provide related learning responses.
This may involve:
Text Recognition: Images or documents may be processed to identify and extract readable text.
AI Generation: Extracted or retrieved text and relevant Study Kit material may be sent to AI-processing services to generate Study Kits and respond to questions submitted through Sumri’s Ask feature.
Output Delivery: The generated Study Kit or Ask response is returned to the App for your review, saving, or study use.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading.
Sumri is a study-support tool and should not be treated as a substitute for textbooks, teachers, lecturers, professional advice, or independent academic judgment.
You should verify important facts, formulas, definitions, citations, and academic claims before relying on AI-generated output.
Do not upload highly sensitive, confidential, private, legally privileged, medical, financial, government-identification, or other restricted information to Sumri.
Sumri is designed to support learning, revision, comprehension, and personal study.
You agree not to use Sumri to:
Cheat in exams, tests, assignments, or academic assessments;
Submit AI-generated content as your own original work where prohibited;
Violate school, university, institutional, or examination rules;
Process copyrighted materials without permission or lawful basis;
Upload another person’s notes, documents, images, or personal information without authorization;
Create misleading, harmful, unlawful, or deceptive academic content;
Bypass academic-integrity, plagiarism, or assessment rules.
You are responsible for checking and following the academic codes, copyright rules, and technology-use policies of your school, university, lecturer, examination body, or institution.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We may share, disclose, transmit, or otherwise make information available to trusted service providers that help us operate Sumri, including:
Firebase Authentication and Sign in with Google: For account creation, email-and-password authentication, Google authentication, password reset, session management, account security, and account deletion;
Google Gemini API: For Study Kit generation and related AI-processing features;
Firebase / Google Cloud services: For authentication-related infrastructure, backend functions, cloud data storage and synchronization, document processing and storage, operational logging and monitoring, security, and other infrastructure required to operate Sumri;
Google Play Billing: For subscription and purchase processing;
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK: For requesting, serving, displaying, measuring, reporting, securing, and verifying advertising, including optional rewarded advertising;
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): For displaying applicable advertising privacy messages and obtaining, recording, or managing advertising-related consent and privacy choices;
Participating advertising partners: Where applicable, for advertising delivery, measurement, personalization where permitted, reporting, security, or fraud prevention.
Sumri also uses Google ML Kit for on-device text recognition. ML Kit processes OCR input and output on the device rather than sending that OCR input or output to Google servers. ML Kit may collect limited technical and usage information as described in Section 3(E).
These providers and services may process information according to their own applicable terms, privacy policies, data-processing terms, legal obligations, and security practices.
Although Sumri does not sell personal information for money, advertising technologies may involve disclosures or transfers of information to Google or participating advertising partners.
Under some privacy laws, certain advertising-related disclosures or uses may legally be described as a “sale,” “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” “cross-context behavioral advertising,” or a similar regulated activity even where no money is paid for the information.
Where applicable, Sumri provides or supports consent, opt-out, and privacy-choice mechanisms required for those activities.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law;
Respond to lawful requests from authorities;
Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Sumri, advertisers, service providers, or others;
Detect, prevent, investigate, or address fraud, advertising fraud, abuse, security threats, or technical issues;
Enforce our terms, policies, or reward rules;
Complete a business transfer, restructuring, merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Some service providers used by Sumri may process or store information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, which may include contractual protections, data-processing terms, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
By using Sumri, you acknowledge that information may be processed in countries with data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where consent is legally required for a particular international transfer or related processing, we will rely on consent only where appropriate.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Retention periods may depend on:
The type of data;
Whether the data is stored locally or remotely;
Whether the data is linked to an account;
Whether you delete the data;
Whether retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, advertising verification, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or platform-compliance reasons.
Study Kits, preferences, cached content, and other locally stored information may remain on your device until you delete them through the App, clear App storage, uninstall the App, or delete the relevant content.
Account-related information, including authentication information maintained through Firebase Authentication, may be retained while your Sumri account remains active.
If you permanently delete your account or submit a verified external account-deletion request, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data unless limited information must or may lawfully be retained for purposes such as fraud prevention, advertising-reward verification, security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, regulatory, or legal compliance.
Deleting your Sumri account does not delete your underlying Google Account if you used Sign in with Google.
Completed Cloud Library data may remain associated with your active Sumri account until you delete the relevant content or permanently delete your account.
For document-upload processing, successfully processed document sources may remain available until they are deleted by the user or removed as part of account deletion.
Failed document-processing sources are ordinarily scheduled for deletion after approximately seven days, while abandoned or incomplete document-upload sources are ordinarily scheduled for deletion after approximately one day.
Permanent account deletion removes the account’s Cloud Library and applicable account-linked source-document data, subject to the limited lawful retention exceptions described in this Privacy Policy.
Limited advertising, rewarded-ad verification, reward-accounting, security, and anti-fraud information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Confirm whether a reward was validly earned;
Prevent duplicate or replayed rewards;
Enforce earning or balance limits;
Investigate fraud or abuse;
Resolve disputes;
Meet advertising-platform or legal obligations.
We do not retain such information longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Privacy-safe operational telemetry, structured backend logs, diagnostics, advertising-related diagnostics, and security logs may be retained for a limited period to maintain App security, troubleshoot issues, monitor reliability, verify service operation, and investigate failures, abuse, or fraud.
You may delete certain information directly in the App, including saved Study Kits, preferences, cached content, or local history, where these features are available.
If you have a Sumri account, you can permanently delete your account from the Account Deletion area inside the Sumri App.
You may also request account and associated-data deletion outside the App through Sumri’s official Account Deletion web page or by contacting:
support@sumriapp.com
Google Play requires apps that allow users to create accounts to provide an in-app deletion path and an external mechanism for requesting account deletion and associated-data deletion.
Please note that deleting the App from your device does not automatically delete your Sumri account.
If you have an active paid subscription, you must cancel it separately through your Google Play account.
For external deletion requests submitted by email, please include the email address linked to your Sumri account and clearly state that you are requesting account deletion.
We may need to verify your identity before completing an external deletion request.
We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, advertising-verification, accounting, dispute-resolution, and platform-compliance requirements.
Deleting your Sumri account may also permanently remove unused ad-funded Study Kit or Ask balances associated with the account.
Ad-funded rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account or redeemed for money.
Account deletion is separate from changing advertising privacy choices.
If you used Sign in with Google to create or access your Sumri account, deleting your Sumri account removes the applicable Sumri account and associated Sumri data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Deleting your Sumri account does not delete your Google Account, Gmail account, Google Drive data, or other information independently maintained by Google.
Where applicable, you may separately manage or revoke Sumri’s connection or access through your Google Account settings. Revoking Google access or disconnecting Google authentication does not necessarily constitute a request to delete your Sumri account or associated Sumri data. If you want your Sumri account deleted, you should use Sumri’s account-deletion process.
Information independently controlled by Google or another third-party provider is handled by that provider in accordance with its own privacy practices and applicable law.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
Request access to personal information we hold about you;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion of your personal information;
Request restriction of processing;
Object to certain processing;
Request portability of your information;
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
Opt out of certain advertising-related sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities where applicable;
Lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority;
Appeal or challenge certain privacy decisions, where applicable.
To exercise your rights, contact us at:
support@sumriapp.com
We may ask you to verify your identity before responding to a request where permitted or required by law.
Certain advertising privacy rights may also be exercised directly through the privacy controls or messages described below.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable comprehensive privacy legislation, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
Depending on the law that applies to you, these may include the right to:
Know or access categories or specific pieces of personal information collected about you;
Know categories of sources of personal information;
Know purposes for collecting, using, or disclosing personal information;
Know categories of third parties to whom personal information is disclosed;
Request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions;
Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
Opt out of targeted advertising where applicable;
Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable;
Obtain portability of certain information;
Not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights;
Appeal certain privacy decisions where provided by law.
Sumri does not sell your personal information for money.
However, through optional advertising services, certain information may be disclosed or made available to Google or participating advertising partners in ways that may constitute “sharing,” targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or another regulated advertising activity under applicable US privacy law.
Where required, eligible users may be provided with a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or equivalent privacy option through Sumri’s applicable US-state privacy message.
When an eligible user submits an applicable opt-out choice through that mechanism, the choice is communicated to Google through the applicable privacy framework.
You may also use relevant device-level privacy controls where available.
US privacy requests may also be submitted by contacting:
support@sumriapp.com
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy protections, you may have rights including the right to:
Access personal data;
Correct inaccurate personal data;
Request deletion;
Restrict processing;
Object to certain processing;
Obtain data portability where applicable;
Withdraw consent;
Lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.
Where required for advertising, Sumri uses Google’s consent-management tools to present applicable advertising privacy choices.
Depending on your location, prior choices, applicable law, and the advertising services involved, you may be offered options to consent, decline consent, or manage advertising purposes and participating advertising partners.
Where Google indicates that advertising privacy options are required, Sumri provides an in-app path at:
Profile → Data & Privacy → Privacy Controls
This allows eligible users to review or change their advertising privacy choices and, where applicable, withdraw consent previously provided for personalized advertising or related processing.
Withdrawing or declining advertising consent does not terminate your Sumri account.
It may, however, affect whether advertisements are available, whether advertisements can be personalized, or which advertising technologies may be used.
Where required, we will respond to valid privacy requests within the period required by applicable law.
Where applicable, we aim to process personal information in a fair, lawful, transparent, proportionate, and secure manner consistent with applicable Nigerian data-protection and consumer-protection requirements.
Users may contact us regarding:
Privacy enquiries;
Data access;
Data correction;
Data deletion;
Consent or advertising-privacy questions;
Account matters;
Billing concerns;
Complaints;
Other data-protection or consumer-related matters.
Contact:
support@sumriapp.com
We will make reasonable efforts to respond to legitimate requests and complaints in accordance with applicable law.
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, manipulation, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include:
Authentication controls;
Email-and-password and Google authentication infrastructure provided through Firebase Authentication;
Limited access to data;
Secure third-party infrastructure;
Local storage protections;
Secure transmission where applicable;
Server-side verification for eligible rewarded-ad events;
Anti-fraud, anti-replay, and abuse-prevention controls;
Monitoring for errors, abuse, suspicious activity, and security threats;
Platform-level security features provided by Android, Firebase, Google authentication services, Google Play, Google Cloud, Google Mobile Ads, and related services.
However, no method of transmission over the internet, mobile network, wireless network, authentication system, or local-device storage is completely secure.
We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device, Sumri account credentials, connected Google Account where applicable, Google Play account, and App access secure.
You may control certain privacy-related settings through:
The App’s settings;
Profile → Data & Privacy → Privacy Controls, where applicable;
Google/AdMob European or US-state privacy messages where applicable;
Android permission settings;
Android advertising and privacy controls where available;
Google Account security and third-party connection settings where applicable;
Google Play account and subscription settings;
Device storage and cache settings;
Account deletion;
Support or privacy requests submitted to Sumri.
Where applicable, you may use your Google Account settings to review or revoke access associated with Sign in with Google. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete your Sumri account or all Sumri data; use Sumri’s account-deletion process if you want the Sumri account and associated data deleted.
Where applicable, you can use Sumri’s Privacy Controls to review or change advertising-related choices previously presented through Google’s privacy framework.
Choosing not to consent to personalized advertising does not by itself prevent you from using your Sumri account.
However, the type or availability of advertising may differ.
Rewarded advertisements may also be unavailable because of:
Advertising inventory;
Network conditions;
Region;
Device configuration;
Privacy settings;
Consent choices;
Eligibility restrictions;
Security or fraud-prevention controls;
Third-party service availability.
You may choose not to provide certain information or permissions, but some Sumri features may not work where that information or permission is necessary to provide the requested feature.
Sumri may contain, access, or interact with third-party websites, services, authentication providers, payment systems, AI-processing providers, advertising providers, or platform pages.
These may include services operated by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Sign in with Google, Google Cloud, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, and other applicable Google services, as well as other participating advertising partners.
When you choose to use a third-party authentication service such as Sign in with Google, that provider may process information independently under its own privacy policy and terms.
We do not control the independent privacy practices, content, terms, data retention, or security practices of third parties.
You should review the privacy policies and terms of third-party services where appropriate.
The inclusion or use of a third-party service does not mean that Sumri controls all information independently processed by that provider.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We may make updates to reflect, among other things:
New or changed Sumri features;
New or changed authentication methods, including third-party authentication;
Advertising or Free-With-Ads functionality;
New service providers;
Changes to data-processing practices;
Legal or regulatory requirements;
Google Play or other platform requirements;
Security or operational changes.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.
Where required by law or platform policy, we may also provide additional notice through the App, Google Play listing, email, an applicable consent interface, or another appropriate method.
Material changes that require renewed consent will be handled through an appropriate consent mechanism where required by applicable law.
