Ellsworth Pride Fest 2023!
In June of 2023 the Civil Rights Team attended Ellsworth Pride Fest! Pride Fest is one of our biggest fundraisers, it allows us to raise money so we can continue to host events at Sumner!
Women's History Month Book Display!
For March 2023, the Civil Rights Team created a Women's History Month Book display in the library! We wanted to highlight Women's History Month and the amazing books we have in our library about the women empowerment!
Black History Month Book Display!
For February 2023, the Civil Rights Team created a Black History Month Book display in the library! We wanted to highlight Black History Month and the amazing books we have about Black history and by Black authors!
Sea Dogs Game!
The Civil Rights Team was invited to Civil Rights Night, hosted by the Portland Sea Dogs! Civil Rights Teams all over Maine participated in a parade around the stadium and then enjoyed the game!
Ellsworth Pride Fest 2022!
The CMSLC High School Civil Rights Team went to Ellsworth Pride Fest on June 12th, 2022! There was live music, a pride zoo, booths with food and drinks, yoga hour with Quiet Strength Yoga, pride merchandise and more!
