Mission

SummitX is an annual, year-long mountain challenge designed for those who live for the climb.
Entrants aim to reach a minimum number of vertical meters by summiting a series of pre-selected peaks within a single year — earning not just a medal of recognition, but the pride of true mountain achievement.

Vision

SummitX is more than an adventure — it’s a movement for mountain lovers.
Our goal is to inspire appreciation, respect, and awareness for the magnificent mountain regions of the Great Escarpment and beyond.

We welcome people from all walks of life and value the diversity that strengthens our community.
We celebrate both the biodiversity of our mountains and the diversity of those who explore them.

Through SummitX, we aim to foster a deep connection with mountain ecosystems and to encourage their protection for future generations.
Every year, we proudly join the global community in celebrating International Mountain Day on 11 December.

Code of Conduct

🧭 Respect for All

SummitX and the Mountain Goats community are built on respect, tolerance, and inclusion.
We welcome everyone — regardless of culture, belief, or lifestyle — and expect the same from all participants.
Discrimination, harassment, or any behavior that undermines another’s rights will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion.

🚫 Safety First

To ensure everyone’s safety, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited on the trails.
Celebrate responsibly after the adventure — not during.
Reckless behavior, dangerous conduct, or anything that could endanger others or damage the reputation of SummitX will lead to IMMEDIATE EXPULSION from SummitX and the relevant event.

🌍 Leave No Trace

Respect the mountains — and the people who’ll climb them after you.
No littering, no damage, no shortcuts.
We protect what we love by leaving every trail better than we found it.

📵 Trail Privacy & Intellectual Property

Trail information, maps, and contacts shared within SummitX are strictly for participant use only.
Please do not share or market SummitX routes outside the initiative.
(Sharing official SummitX or Mountain Goats social posts is encouraged!)

All SummitX content, maps, and materials remain the intellectual property of Hayibo Marketing.
Only the event organizers may distribute or authorize marketing materials related to SummitX.

🗞️ Media & Representation

To protect the integrity of our initiative, participants and visitors may not speak to the media or represent SummitX publicly without prior permission.
If you’re approached by a journalist or want to share your SummitX story, please contact the event organizer first — we love showcasing our members responsibly.

🚫 No Unauthorized Promotion

Personal branding, outside initiatives, or marketing displays (including flags, logos, or apparel) are not permitted at events without written consent from the organizer.
If you’d like to collaborate or sponsor an event, please reach out — partnership opportunities are always welcome through official channels.

⚖️ Accountability

By joining SummitX, you agree to uphold the values and standards that make this community exceptional.
Hayibo Marketing and SummitX reserve the right to cancel participation or issue a ban if this Code of Conduct is breached.
In cases of serious misconduct that cause reputational or financial harm, legal action may be pursued.
