Classes run each morning at Summer School, from 9am-noon on 29th, 30th, 31st Dec and 2nd, 3rd, 4th Jan - with a small break in the middle for a cuppa, of course! Classes are great fun and a fantastic intensive learning opportunity at Summer School, where you can get individualised feedback on your dancing, as well as a chance to meet peers of your own level.
Have a look at the flowchart or try out our quiz below to see which class is right for you.
Are you a non-dancer accompanying a spouse/family member, or unable to dance this year? Have a look at our Excursions Programme, specially tailored for those who don't want to dance in the mornings but still want to be involved.
When registering for Summer School, you will be given the opportunity to select a first and second choice of class. It's important to be honest in your class selection, because we want you to be part of a class that you will receive the most benefit from.
Your class choice should take into account not only your prior experience, but also your current fitness, energy level and any injuries. We want you to be challenged, but not to be struggling or holding the class back. Remember, years of dancing doesn't always equal ability! If you're not sure about what class would be right for you, have a chat to your club tutor.
Be aware that the Summer School Organiser may move dancers to a different class if they consider they are not dancing at the level required for their chosen class, or are not in a class they will get the most benefit from. Additionally, while every effort will be made to place you in the class of your choice, numbers may require dancers to be placed in another class, or a class to be cancelled and another substituted.
Dancers who register after 31 August 2026 run the risk of not being placed in the class of their choice. You will be advised if this occurs.
